Globe Hall Presents Tōth with William Alexander on Thursday, October 15th. - KITCHEN OPENS AT 5PM! Tōth’s paradoxical third album, And The Voice Said is a prayer to be able to pray, a meditation on why he meditates, a collection of jokes about what he holds sacred. “I’ve always felt conflicted about my spiritual strivings,” Tōth explains. “I never wanted to identify as a Buddhist because Buddhism is supposed to be about non-identity. There’s a classic Buddhist line: ‘If you see the Buddha, kill the Buddha!’ This album is my attempt to kill the Buddha.” Toth's path to this album has been anything but linear. After early struggles with addiction and run-ins with the law, Toth found salvation in music, co-founding Rubblebucket in college and building a joyful collective that became his lifeline. Getting sober while navigating a very public breakup and maintaining the creative partnership taught him that spiritual seeking isn't about transcendence – it's about staying. With Rubblebucket on indefinite hiatus, Tōth is ready to focus his full energy on his solo work: music that doesn't bypass the messy human work of choosing life, choosing love, choosing embodiment. For a character as enigmatic as Tōth, “killing the Buddha” might mean closing their shows with audience-wide singalongs of the mantra “Open your heart to the universe.” “It’s hard to explain in theory,” Tōth says, laughing. “But in the room, everyone seems to understand. It’s an absurd and joyous thing to sing. For many reasons most of us need that message. Not to be lofty but there’s way too much hate and violence in the world and it starts with the closing of our individual hearts. My personal default can be so negative and self-loathing and it feels nice to sing something I need to hear.” That duality – humor and holiness, irony and sincerity – runs through the album, which features a duet with Kimbra and is co-produced by Grammy-nominated artist Caroline Rose. He describes Rose as a kindred spirit, “deeply in touch with vibe and emotion but also a technician in every area of their life.” Rose brought the same meticulous energy to production as to fixing Feist’s car (which they worked on between album sessions). “They produce with that same energy.” Across the album, Tōth swings between the buoyant self-reassurance of “Not Broken” to the spiraling doubt that follows, taps into the zeitgeist with “Ice Cream” and into his inner voices with “Triangle People.” His trumpet blares fanfare and alarm. As the record closes, he’s found a fragile kind of weightless, trembling peace. It’s clear Tōth hasn’t killed the Buddha. His assassination attempts fail gloriously. The self and all its torment remains. But And The Voice Said leaves behind so much beauty that, for a moment, you might believe having a self isn’t so bad. All ages, ticketed guests under 16 ONLY ADMITTED WITH TICKETED GUARDIAN 21+ All sales are final.
Globe Hall Presents The Wilder Blue on Thursday, July 23rd. - KITCHEN OPENS AT 5PM! “There is music. And then there is The Wilder Blue, who feel so transcendent, they’re in a category all of their own.” —Saving Country Music The Wilder Blue began in 2019 when Zane Williams, already a seasoned troubadour with seven solo albums under his belt, pulled together a select group of multi-talented musicians from the Texas music scene. Their debut album Hill Country (2020) and its follow-up The Wilder Blue (2022) garnered comparisons to early Eagles and '80s-era Alabama by interweaving five-part harmonies with bluegrassy arrangements of folk-rock and country songs. Twenty years before he was fronting a break-out band, Zane Williams was a solo coffeehouse performer and aspiring songwriter in Nashville. After moving back to his native Texas in 2008 he eventually became a dancehall staple and respected songwriter with cuts by the likes of Pat Green, Kevin Fowler, and Cody Johnson. To the surprise of his fans (and the bemusement of his booking agent), Zane announced the formation of the new group in 2019 by soliciting band names from his fans and promising lifetime free tickets to anyone whose suggestion was picked. (The winning name “Hill Country” had to be changed just after the release of their first album due to a trademark conflict, but the winner is still on the guest list for life!) Multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter Andy Rogers was the only member of Zane’s former band to join the new group. Born and raised in Lebanon, TN, Rogers learned bluegrass chops from an early age and excelled on bass, banjo, dobro, guitar, and just about anything with strings. Rogers moved to Denton, TX in 2004 to study jazz bass at the University of North Texas and made a long-term home in the eclectic arts community he found there. Playing in a series of rock and country gigs eventually led him to join the Zane Williams band on bass and vocals in 2016. Looking over the Texas music scene for likely bandmates, Williams sent a text to a singer-songwriter and lead guitar player whose voice had caught his ear a few years before on local radio. Paul Eason was ensconced at the time in a comfortable guitar gig with Texas staple Kevin Fowler but was immediately intrigued by the notion of joining forces. Originally from Houston, TX but living at the time in San Antonio, Eason fronted various bands beginning in his teens and released two solo albums in the early 2000s before joining the Fowler band full time. A third solo album followed in 2016, which showcased his distinctive lead vocals, southwestern aesthetics, and impeccable guitar playing. Eason, in turn, vividly recalled meeting a singing drummer named Lyndon Hughes who had been with the Roger Creager band. Eason and Williams paid a visit to the studio in the Woodlands, TX where Hughes was working as an engineer, producer, drummer, and vocalist. Singing together that day on a new song Williams had written called “Dixie Darlin’,” the three realized they were onto something special. Hughes, a Houston native, brought a wide range of skills to the new band. His effortless harmony vocals, his versatile drumming, and his ears as an engineer and producer would end up having a major impact on shaping the sound of the band. All ages, ticketed guests under 16 ONLY ADMITTED WITH TICKETED GUARDIAN 21+ All sales are final.
Globe Hall Presents Clayton Nile Young on Saturday, August 8th. - KITCHEN OPENS AT 5PM! “It all started when I fell off a cliff.” Clayton Nile Young Not every artist arrives with a sense of mythology, but Clayton Nile Young does: rooted in something older, he echoes from the Smokies with haunting vocals and a scorching rosin on the fiddle. A multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and storyteller currently based in Charleston, West Virginia, Clayton Nile Young blends elements of alternative country, bluegrass and folk into a sound he often describes as, “Holler Poetry”, a raw, emotionally driven style steeped in mountain tradition and personal history. Although he grew up playing drums, he began teaching himself to play fiddle while in the hospital during an extended stay after a rock climbing accident that took his beloved right knee cap. It was during recovery, he asked permission for his grandfather’s fiddle, an heirloom that carried with it both family legacy and the spirit of mountain music. What followed wasn’t just rehabilitation, it was transformation. Through that instrument Young found both a voice and a calling. He had been playing, writing and singing for years with no plans to record or make anything more out of his music hobby. That changed after the accident and the birth of his first born. He wanted to set the example that you can do whatever you put your heart to. What came of that was his debut album Della, aptly named after his daughter. His sophomore album, Eddy, expands on that vision into something even more ambitious. Named after his second child, the album unfolds as a tragic love story, timeless in structure yet grounded in modern emotion. It follows a man who finds redemption and stability in love, only to lose it leaving him fractured and searching in its wake. The narrative plays like Shakespearean tragedy, where beauty and ruin exist side by side. In a world chasing immediacy, his work stands apart: patient, intimate, emotional and timeless. All ages, ticketed guests under 16 ONLY ADMITTED WITH TICKETED GUARDIAN 21+ All sales are final.
Globe Hall Presents Shelby Stone with The Gray Jays on Wednesday, June 24th. - KITCHEN OPENS AT 5PM! Cut from the backdrop of the iconic Fort Worth Stockyards, Shelby Stone is part of a new generation of artists reshaping the Red Dirt and Americana landscape, not through viral moments or industry shortcuts, but by building something real from the ground up. Raised in Decatur, TX, Stone blends hard-edged rock and roll with emotionally raw songwriting, delivering a sound that feels both familiar and entirely her own. What separates Stone is not just the music, but the way she has chosen to build her career. Completely independent, with no label or publishing deal, she has leaned into a direct-to-fan approach that prioritizes connection over convenience. Her debut album Silveryear was released first as a physical and direct digital product in August 2025, moving through its first vinyl pressing in under an hour. The decision to delay streaming until April 2026 was intentional, a statement about valuing the listener and rewarding the fans who showed up early. Produced by Dalton Domino and P.H. Naffah, Silveryear captures the full spectrum of Stone’s artistry. The record moves effortlessly between sharp, driving rock moments and stripped-down, unguarded songwriting, tied together by a voice that never wavers. An album rooted in survival, self-reflection, and reinvention, it is not just a debut, but rather a foundation. Stone’s rise has been driven by the stage. Since her first show in 2020, she has developed a reputation as a commanding live performer, capable of holding a room with the intensity of a seasoned veteran. That presence has translated into real momentum, including sold-out multi-night runs, an expanding national touring footprint, and slots at some of the most respected festivals in the space, including Luck Reunion, Mile 0 Fest, Born and Raised, Texas Music Revolution, and Steamboat Music Festival. At the core of everything is the fan. Stone’s philosophy is simple: think like a fan and treat the listener like a real person by giving them something worth holding onto. The admiration she has garnered from Americana icons such as Robert Earl Keen, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Cross Canadian Ragweed, and Turnpike Troubadours speaks to both her authenticity and the respect she has earned within the Texas and Red Dirt community. Shelby Stone is not just another new name in Texas music, but an artist carving out her own lane, built on honesty, work ethic, and a deep understanding of what it takes to earn an audience. With Silveryear out now on streaming platforms, and an audience growing by the show, she stands on the edge of a breakout moment built entirely on her own terms All ages, ticketed guests under 16 ONLY ADMITTED WITH TICKETED GUARDIAN 21+ All sales are final.
Globe Hall Presents Ecca Vandal on Saturday, October 10th. - KITCHEN OPENS AT 5PM! For Ecca Vandal, punk was a way in – and a way out. Born to a Sri Lankan family in South Africa, she moved to Australia at a young age, and faced pressure to assimilate. “There were just so many restrictions and limitations growing up in such a strict cultural and religious upbringing,” says Ecca. “When I discovered punk rock, it was so much about expressing yourself against those boundaries, against those things that actually suffocate you. I realized that actually my journey is what I had to talk about. I don't want to see Women voiceless.” Ecca came to punk from jazz training and music school orthodoxy, from weighty first-gen parental expectations, and other places far from the Melbourne home studio where Ecca first screamed her feelings into a microphone. “What I was taught as a child is the exact opposite of like, "Fuck it, I exist and I make noise and I'm loud and I'm going to take up space.” Seeing Ecca’s kinetic energy live, the way she owns the entire frame in videos and as she sings “CRUISING TO SELF SOOTHE” – it’s hard to imagine there was ever a time where she was tentative about any of it. The singer/songwriter remembers “Just being so scared to make noise and say something. I wanted to exist as raw, unapologetic and brash, but also have beauty and poise and refinement at the same time. Those things co-exist. That's what I tried to express with my vocals across this album. That, to me, is freedom.” While punk is the framework of Ecca Vandal’s LOOKING FOR PEOPLE TO UNFOLLOW, it equally bears the marks of her girlhood spent traversing between different cultures: “The music that I was absorbing and listening to as a child was soul, gospel, South African traditional music, Sri Lankan and South Indian music. Then I moved to a very white neighborhood in Australia, and everyone at school was listening to guitar-based music.” As a teenager, Ecca fell in love with jazz, and entered the Victorian College of The Arts to train as a jazz vocalist. Her trajectory turned once classmates played her Radiohead, Fugazi, Pixies, and Bjork, effectively exploding her ideas of how emotions could be expressed through music. “I realized that I wasn't going to get fulfilled by singing other people's stories” LOOKING FOR PEOPLE TO UNFOLLOW, while anchored in punk, sees Ecca unapologetically reveling in her full creative powers. Tracks like “EYES SHUT” and “DANCE IN DEBT” lean unabashedly into hardcore, but the album polyglot influences reveal Ecca’s “journey” – elements of bhangra flutter up to squealing guitars, heavy crunch gives way to d-beat gives way to skaterock harmonics. On the titanic “DO IT ANYWAY”, over a reggaeton beat, seemingly Ecca answers back to the famous Jenny Holzer line: “done with protecting every bit of me from what I want“. The album holds its disparate angles and its soundclashing tight, contains it with pure punk heart – reflecting the time, place, and love it came from. All ages, ticketed guests under 16 ONLY ADMITTED WITH TICKETED GUARDIAN 21+ All sales are final.
Globe Hall Presents Tyler Halverson on Wednesday, July 22nd, - KITCHEN OPENS AT 5PM! Tyler Halverson knows who he is, and sometimes he doesn’t like it. But all of the mistakes he’s made and hearts he’s broken have led him to In Defense of Drinking, his stone-cold honest country album that takes a stark look at a life lived on the road. “It’s been a life spent falling in and out of love and finding something to write about, at the expense of your heart and somebody’s else’s,” Halverson says. “I’m not proud of the actions that that boy took to inspire these songs. But I’m very proud of how they turned out. The Nashville scene today is all so pretty and polished, and some artists try to come out looking a certain way, but how about you just show yourself exactly how you are, the good and bad?” Growing up in the tiny town of Canton, South Dakota, Halverson has never been afraid to be himself. Before he answered the call of the road, playing bars and rodeo beer gardens, he spent as much time on his skateboard as he did showing cattle at livestock shows. “I grew up in sale barns and skate parks,” he says, and those two disparate worlds inform the music he makes. There’s a decidedly alt-country edge to the songs on In Defense of Drinking, including the thumping, unrepentant single “More Hearts Than Horses.” Halverson comes by that aesthetic naturally. He spent time not only in his native South Dakota, but all throughout the American West, including playing cowboy on a Wyoming ranch (which inspired the cult hit “Mac Miller”). “Beer Garden Baby,” his beloved fan favorite, was born from those rodeo gigs, and he re-records it as a duet with Parker McCollum for In Defense of Drinking. He’s also set to open a string of shows for the Texas-turned-Nashville-star. Texas is in the DNA of the music Halverson writes and records. He’s been all over the Lone Star state with his guitar and harmonica and came up with some of his best songs there. In the tailgate jam “Like a Rodeo,” featuring Australian country star Wade Forster, Halverson struggles to connect with another restless soul: an ambitious barrel racer. “Could she ever love me like the rodeo?” he sings. Halverson wrote the track after lighting out from Tennessee to Texas to find himself. “I got pissed off with Nashville and ran away to Turkey, Texas,” he says. “I was crashing with some buddies in a trailer, smoking it out, and writing songs. ‘Like a Rodeo’ is about chasing somebody who is also chasing something, and wondering if those paths are ever going to cross.” “You can lose yourself in the troubadour lifestyle, where every night is a damn party and you’re far from your family, your home, and your faith,” he says. “So, this album may be a little bit of a personal battle: Who are you on the road vs. who are you at home. These songs are often about me admitting that I can be reckless and impulsive, but that I’m trying my best. Conflict isn’t always bad if you can make some good out of it.” That’s one of Halverson’s goals for In Defense of Drinking. Does he have any others? He shoots a shit-eating grin. “I hope I can buy some cows with this record.” All ages, ticketed guests under 16 ONLY ADMITTED WITH TICKETED GUARDIAN 21+ All sales are final.
Globe Hall Presents The Jungle Giants on Friday, October 9th. - KITCHEN OPENS AT 5PM! To live in the world of The Jungle Giants, you really have to live in Sam Hales’ head. That’s usually a riotous place to be; slammed full of big dance tunes, multiple bands and electric live shows all over the world. The Jungle Giants have been at it for such a long time - fifteen years, on the cusp of five albums - that it’s hard to imagine them ever not being part of Australia’s global vanguard. But when you are the band - in the most Kevin Parker sense of the word - and the world as you know it starts falling to pieces, the music inside of your head might start to sound a little different. That is, if you’re even hearing music at all. Experiencing Feelings of Joy is an apt title not only for the listener, but its creator. Careening from crushing personal loss to hopeful exuberance, it’s an album Sam Hales could only write after thinking he’d never be able to write again. Hales has always prided himself on being ‘a full-on, extreme kind of guy’. But by mid-2022, the cracks were starting to show. “There were a couple years there where my accountant told me that I'd done more shows than there were days in the year,” he laughs, “I was just making music and then just flying wherever they told me to fly!” Hales had arguably reached a creative apex: playing in and writing hits for two globetrotting dance bands simultaneously, with the second of these, Confidence Man, booked to play Glastonbury. He was also engaged to their singer, following a ten year artistic and romantic relationship. Then, in classic Hales fashion, everything happened all at once. In the space of only a few months, Hales tore up his leg in a jetski accident and was confined to a hospital bed, played Glastonbury on crutches after intense rehab, split up with his fiance and parted ways with Confidence Man. Things you may not know about Sam Hales, the one-man music machine behind Jungle Giants: He was a competition-winning flautist at school. He was raised by a single Irish mother, and turned to music partially to escape her abusive ex-husband. He adopted his trademark falsetto vocals after hearing Bon Iver on the radio. He curates mini-rave listening sessions for his band, “with laser lights and smoke machines”, once he’s finished an album. With a record big on feelings and even bigger on floor-fillers, Hales has naturally refocused his sights on world domination. “It just feels good to just be spreading joy and love on a global scale,” he says. “I'm lucky to have an immigrant mum from Ireland. I grew up being very exposed to an international outlook. Having previously taken on the Americas, Hales now has his sights set on Europe. “It’s all built off love and obsession. I will never stop making Jungle Giants music; it’s who I am and it's only going to get bigger.” All ages, ticketed guests under 16 ONLY ADMITTED WITH TICKETED GUARDIAN 21+ All sales are final. Her life began in the neighborhood of Beacon Hill where she took piano, drum, and guitar lessons, and penning songs of her own served as an outlet as a kid. While attending the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at New York University, she continued to write and record. She eventually caught the attention of GRAMMY® Award-winning producer M-Phazes and together they collaborated on her 2022 breakout “Love Me Back,” which to date has amassed north of 7 million Spotify streams. “Love Me Back” paved the way for more music, including “Robbie,” “Frosty,” and “Helium,” as well as while along the way, she shared stages with the likes of Claire Rosinkranz, Stephen Sanchez, Rachel Chinouriri, and M. Ward in addition to gracing the bills of Newport Folk Festival and Boston Calling. In 2024, the songstress inked a deal with Columbia Records and she released her debut EP, Driving Backwards, to much acclaim in May 2025. Khatumu: Khatumu, a half-German, half-Sierra Leonean artist and first-generation American, and recent Yale graduate, ignited her musical journey during the COVID-19 lockdown in Brazil. At 20, she immersed herself in learning music production, quickly gaining attention with her debut single “Hunting Days”. Her upcoming EP Free Therapy blends folk and Americana influences, and showcases her gifts of intimate storytelling and emotional depth, with epically relatable narratives, as evident on tracks like “Sober” and “Fire Drill”. Now based in Los Angeles, Khatumu continues to evolve, crafting touching, catchy songs that explore themes of relationships, self-discovery, identity, and personal growth, and navigate the complexities of young adulthood with a unique voice full of both confidence and vulnerability. Free Therapy ultimately feels like a glimpse into Khatumu’s bright musical future, and clearly solidifies her as a the year’s most captivating and thoughtful young singer/songwriter. All ages, ticketed guests under 16 ONLY ADMITTED WITH TICKETED GUARDIAN 21+ All sales are final.
Globe Hall Presents Dylan LeBlanc on Wednesday, July 1 - KITCHEN OPENS AT 5PM! Dylan LeBlanc is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who often finds himself flirting with the edge — or “dancing on a razor,” as he calls it — as it is all he has ever known. A verdict vagabond since he was a little boy tossed between Texas, Louisiana and Alabama, LeBlanc thrives on the precipice, never staying in one place for too long. It is that nomadic spirit that drew him not only to a life as a touring musician, but also to the beast that titles his newest record: ‘Coyote.’LeBlanc says he has always related to the insatiable, scavenging nature of the wily coyote. Much like the animal, LeBlanc is a wanderer who knows when to trust his instincts, musically and otherwise. It is a spiritual kinship that runs deep, but he credits one particularly hair-raising face-to-face instance with solidifying his bond with the animal. LeBlanc was in Austin, Texas, climbing the face of a 100-foot cliff, gambling with Mother Nature’s good graces as he pulled himself up by tree branches. Once he reached the top, all that laid ahead of him was a lush treeline. There was a breath of stillness, then the sound of a thunderous rustling that drew closer and closer to him. In a blink, LeBlanc watched as a frenzied raccoon came speeding out of the treeline, trailed by an animal that stopped and stared at him with striking intensity: a coyote. “We’re looking at each other dead in the eyes…and I’m saying — out loud — ‘If it’s you or me, I am going to kick you off the side of this cliff. I’m not going down.’ It was intense, this human-animal moment,” LeBlanc recalls. “I’ve never forgotten that… he was just trying to survive and so was I.” ‘Coyote’ is LeBlanc’s first self-produced release, boasting a cherry-picked lineup of what he calls “killer session players,” such as drummer Fred Eltringham (Ringo Starr, Sheryl Crow), pianist Jim “Moose” Brown (Bob Seger), and bass player Seth Kaufman (Lana Del Rey). Though ‘Coyote’ covers familiar ground for LeBlanc of living on the edge of danger and its many consequences, the record is both autobiographical and a concept album built around the character of Coyote, a man on the run. The story of ‘Coyote’ progresses linearly, opening with the dizzyingly declarative, strings-heavy title track which details Coyote’s arrival and quick departure as he crosses the border and gets involved with drug cartels. The trouble builds and dark waters rise until track six, “No Promises Broken,” a soaring, against-all-odds love song that marks when Coyote meets a girl, and his luck begins to change for the better. The song tells of how love heals, and places emphasis on lovers remaining open while maintaining their own freedoms, as LeBlanc believes that true devotion does not equal possession. He says that though both Coyote and his love each faced adversity, the hand of destiny put them on the same path and bound them together before they ever met: “‘No Promises Broken’ is an honest love song about two people who come from the same troubled past, and fate intertwines them together. It’s about acknowledging that there will be hard times ahead, but vowing to stick it out without making promises to each other that they know they can’t keep.” All ages, ticketed guests under 16 ONLY ADMITTED WITH TICKETED GUARDIAN 21+ All sales are final.
Globe Hall Presents DICE on Tuesday, October 27 -- KITCHEN OPENS AT 5PM! It’s been said that young people don’t know how to communicate anymore. DICE exists to respond to that idea. Comprising of Ben Hodge, Tom King, Regan Beazley, and Sam Barrett-Lennard, the Perth-based four-piece makes music for authentic connection. For movement, for feeling, and for being present. These are songs that push you to run outside and be a kid again, to fall in love, dance in your kitchen, take a spontaneous trip with mates, or lie in the grass doing nothing at all. This mission has resonated far beyond their Western Australian roots. Since the 2024 release of their ARIA-charting debut album Midnight Zoo, DICE has transformed from local indie-rock darlings into a high-velocity global export. Following the critical acclaim of their debut, the band spent 2025 cementing their status as a premier live act, turning the pressures of early adulthood into bright, liberating anthems for sold-out crowds in London, New York, Toronto, Amsterdam, and Sydney. Having maintained a position on triple j’s Most Played Artists list for three consecutive years, DICE continues to build momentum with an unwavering life’s too short philosophy. The band entered 2026 with the release of ‘COOLER’, a track that quickly became a cornerstone of their evolution.Premiering on triple j and soaring straight into high rotation, the single—produced by Joe Chiccarelli (The Strokes, The White Stripes), was hailed by critics as a sophisticated refinement of their sound. Now, the momentum shifts toward their next chapter. On May 15, DICE return with ‘Loose Change’, a high-octane anthem for the risk-takers. Born from a 2023 voice note and refined in LA during a writing session with G Flip and Aidan Hogg, the track was brought to life at Hollywood’s legendary EastWest Studios. While the band continues to explore sophisticated new sonic DNA, ‘Loose Change’ leans into the raw, sun-drenched energy of fan-favorites like ‘Double Espresso’ and ‘Stop Sign’. It is a euphoric reminder that taking the leap is always worth the view, a sentiment the band lived firsthand while navigating the grit required to reach this global milestone. As they continue to fly at their own altitude, DICE is taking this new era back to the global stage. Coinciding with the new single, the band has announced their 2026 US Tour, returning to North American stages to bring their signature kinetic energy to their growing stateside fanbase. DICE creates the soundtrack to experiences you’ll feel nostalgic for before they’ve even happened, and with ‘Loose Change’, the view from the top has never looked better. All ages, ticketed guests under 16 ONLY ADMITTED WITH TICKETED GUARDIAN 21+ All sales are final. Having evolved from their understated slowcore beginnings in Austin, Texas, they’re now seasoned veterans of the scene. Across their first five studio albums, the duo established their trademark sound of twangy indie rock, 2000s-inspired pop-country, and emotional acoustic ballads with strong pop sensibilities. Their last two records saw them processing life’s most intense emotions more openly than ever before, from declarations of love in its many forms on 2021’s True Love, to grappling with loss and personal change on their latest self-titled album, Hovvdy. But the songs of Big World have them trading in overt emotional directness for subject matter that leans enigmatic, contemplating their place in the world through a mosaic of songs that sees the band at their most secure and self-aware. All ages, ticketed guests under 16 ONLY ADMITTED WITH TICKETED GUARDIAN 21+ All sales are final.
Globe Hall Presents DWLLRS: One of Those Nights Tour with thebandfriday on Friday, August 14th. - KITCHEN OPENS AT 5PM! DWLLRS is an expression of our effort to put a voice to all the fears, hopes, dreams, and aspirations we had ruminating in our heads as boys. In a way, it started as an organic friendship between the two of us, Bren Eissman and Joey Spurgeon. Through the years, it has grown with us and turned into our souls pursuit for God and the intangible through music, songwriting, and world building. DWLLRS came from the term “to dwell” which Bren’s dad coined sarcastically because of our tendency to overthink everything. What once served as a detriment soon became the fuel for our journey of unlocking doors in our hearts we didn’t even know were there. We aimed to delve into the duality of the human experience orienting our hearts towards hope in a dark world — while not being afraid to stare into void that suffering sometimes leaves. Through it all, we discovered the true meaning of our band is not just to overthink. We discovered that overthinking came from a deep conviction that was placed on our hearts. And the more we grow in life experience and as artists the more we hope DWLLRS will continue to be built on faith, friendship, and the pursuit of light in a dark world. We are dwellers, forever. DWLLRS VIP Package Includes: One (1) GA Ticket Intimate Q&A with Joey & Bren of DWLLRS A stripped 2-3 song acoustic performance by DWLLRS One (1) signed exclusive Merch Item VIP package holders should arrive to the venue 75 minutes prior to doors opening.
Globe Hall Presents The Takes on Friday, October 16th. - KITCHEN OPENS AT 5PM! At the intersection of rock riffs and earnest songwriting, you find The Takes, a folk-rock group hailing from Portland, Oregon. The band – composed of Sumner Rahr (guitar/vocals), Guido Rahr (guitar), and Phoebe Webb (bass) – weaves emotion and escapism through their songs, all while sticking to the roots of rock. On their 2024 EP ‘Lay Hold’ The Takes delved further into their country/blues rock tendencies, led by Sumner’s raw vocals and backdropped by an organic four-piece sound of guitar, drums and bass. This era brought the band debut sets at Bonnaroo, BottleRock, Extra Innings Fest, and on two US headline tours, including sold out dates in NYC (Mercury Lounge), Chicago and Colorado Springs. Summer 2025 saw The Takes release anthemic, summery single “Take My Time”, produced by Jon Gilbert (Mt. Joy, Flipturn, Adam Melchor). The Takes are flipping to their next chapter with their third EP ‘Uprooting Roses’ produced with David Baron (The Lumineers, Michael Marcagi, Matt Maeson) out May 1, 2026. It coincides with dates supporting The Runarounds across the US and sets at Treefort Fest, Calgary Stampede, and more. With over 3.5 million career streams and past support slots alongside Houndmouth, Wilderado, Briscoe, and Penelope Road, The Takes are creating music for the moment and community - wherever in the country that happens to be. All ages, ticketed guests under 16 ONLY ADMITTED WITH TICKETED GUARDIAN 21+ All sales are final. His first week in Georgia, he made his way onto a local bill, etching a name for himself as a fresh and favorite hometown voice. He is ardently received by his ever-growing following at legendary venues like Eddie’s Attic and the Georgia Theatre, along with tours across the East Coast. Firmly rooted in Americana and dashed with catchy pop sensibilities, the swinging depths of neo-soul, and a sprinkling of riotous horns, Wim’s arresting sound is as fresh as it is ageless, as fevered as it is raucous fun. A sonic westward expansion of fuzzed-out guitars, saloon pianos, defiant horns, and dusty vocals, his discography blazes a new take on folk and soul while honoring the songwriting giants that paved the way before him like Jason Isbell, Bill Withers, and Chris Stapleton. Follow Wim on Spotify and Instagram and never miss out on the musical misadventures of the East Coast’s resident space cowboy. All ages, ticketed guests under 16 ONLY ADMITTED WITH TICKETED GUARDIAN 21+ All sales are final.
Globe Hall Presents Francis Of Delirium on Wednesday, November 4th. - KITCHEN OPENS AT 5PM! The epitome of a modern artist, Jana Bahrich does most things herself, no matter how painstaking - writing, producing, directing, often hand painting t-shirts the day of shows when the band have run out of merch. This has helped give her band Francis of Delirium a unique identity, with her rock confessionals breathing a new life in to the genre and her paintings creating a striking design aesthetic. Released as she was finishing high school, 2020’s single 'Quit Fucking Around’ was a great introduction and it remains one of her most enduring songs. Shortly after it’s release, she signed to artist-first indie Dalliance Recordings (Gia Margaret, HighSchool, lilo) and three EPs - All Change (2020), Wading (2021), The Funhouse (2022) and a striking debut album - Lighthouse (2024) - on and Jana has Francis of Delirium flying. While the EP’s fizzed with promise, her debut album Lighthouse landed its punches. Seeking a more vulnerable and open sonic palette, she wove in pop elements to create anthems that celebrated heartbreak and love. Lead singles ‘Real Love’ and ‘First Touch’ were the first tracks she made with an outsider - working with GRAMMY winning producer Catherine Marks (boygenius, The Killers, Wolf Alice) - while the rest of the album was produced by Jana herself and day one collaborator Chris Hewett. The critics were impressed too - “Bahrich’s choruses, almost every one, are lump-in-your-throat gorgeous.” NME; “Jana Bahrich seems too young for this tremendous debut’s ambitious anthems.” Uncut; “A rewarding experience that captures a talented, young artist at the crossroads between adolescence and adulthood." Paste. Live, Francis of Delirium are Jana (guitar and vocals), Jeff Hennico (bass) and Denis Schumacher (drums). Together, their brilliant quiet-loud dynamic and tight interplay only elevate her songs and over the last 5 years, they’ve toured across Europe and North America, playing headline shows, festivals and tours with the likes of Blondshell, Briston Maroney, The Districts, Horsegirl and Soccer Mommy. They’ve also supported The 1975, Alanis Morissette, DIIV and Wolf Alice. Last summer saw a memorable UK tour with Bôa, the 90s band resurrected by a huge TikTok moment for their track ‘Duvet’. There was a real sense of excitement for these shows with young crowds snaking outside every venue hours before doors and bringing the sort of energy Jana thrives on, she road tested new material to an overwhelmingly positive response, giving her the impetus to go and finish album two. Featuring the singles ‘Little Black Dress’ and ‘It’s a Beautiful Life’, Run, Run Pure Beauty serves as an excavation of hope in bleak times. Produced by Jana and Chris, and mixed by Nicolas Vernhes (Deerhunter, Dirty Projectors, Silver Jews, Wild Nothing), its eleven songs of discovery, despair and perseverance ultimately serve as a mirror on its creator and is a brilliant next installment in the Francis of Delirium arc. All ages, ticketed guests under 16 ONLY ADMITTED WITH TICKETED GUARDIAN 21+ All sales are final.
Globe Hall Presents Slow Magic on Saturday, September 12 - KITCHEN OPENS AT 5PM! Darkness and light, aggression and gentleness, ecstasy and reflection: these dualities define Slow Magic’s third and strongest project to date, Float. An expansive and inventive compendium of modern electronic pop, the enigmatic producer’s latest spans a multitude of genres and moods resulting in a listening experience that makes for its own journey. Written and recorded over the past two years, work on Float commenced shortly after touring behind 2014’s dreamy How to Run Away, the record’s jagged and surprising new sounds taking shape after a leisurely trip to Iceland in order to “try to get away” from things. A subsequent trip to Japan—wherein Slow Magic performed in the country for the first time—further solidified what would go into the album’s sonic and visual motifs. Float marks a number of “firsts” for Slow Magic: it’s the first time the producer’s worked with live drums, as well as the first time they’ve brought guest vocalists into the Slow Magic world, from MNDR and Swedish electro-rockers Kate Boy to like-minded producer Tropics and Antlers frontman Peter Silberman. But it’s a testament to Slow Magic’s unique creative approach that these different voices coalesce on an album that presents a uniform vision even as it embraces exuberant creativity. Music has always provided a retreat for anyone looking to lose themselves in pure sound, and Float is a trip that no one will regret taking. Recently, he put out his 5th studio album, forgotten feels, and in 2024 he plans to put out a how to run away bonus disk around the 10 year anniversary of his second album. In 2026, slow magic plans to release his 6th studio album “emotion engine” in the summer. All ages, ticketed guests under 16 ONLY ADMITTED WITH TICKETED GUARDIAN 21+ All sales are final.
Globe Hall Presents Hayden Blount with Zandi Holup and Josh Scheer on Sunday, June 14 - KITCHEN OPENS AT 5PM! With a distinctly raw, plainspoken form of instinctual song craft, 23-year-old Hayden Blount has grown into the epitome of a real-deal country outsider … and he’s got no intentions of changing that up. A native and current resident of Savannah, Tennessee, the self-taught talent wields a no-B.S. sound and a drive to cut his own path, earning breakout acclaim with the God’s-honest-truth as his only creative requirement. Because where Blount comes from, a man’s word is his bond. Living out the lines of countless country songs, the rising star played baseball throughout high school before an injury derailed his plans, and rule-breaking country innovators like Zach Bryan and Tyler Childers refocused his attention. Proving a quick study with a gift for rural realism, the D.I.Y. singer-songwriter released his first independent tracks in 2023, and in 2024 the romantic rough edges of “To Know You Were Mine” cut through. Leading to a distribution deal with Santa Anna, Blount followed up with the 2024 EP debut Up, Out, and Leaving – nine-songs which solidified his rustic sound and stripped-down melodic instincts, driven by a vocal built on character, not theatrics. Likewise, brutal honesty formed the bedrock of a unique creative vision, with solo-written songs keeping Blount focused – and never chasing trends. The burning desire behind 2024’s “Good God, Hot Damn” gathered steam, and later that year “Heaven on Earth” became a bonafide hit. Built on a dusky but propulsive guitar-and-fiddle pairing, it’s racked up more than 25 million streams while standing in sharp contrast to the mainstream. Still based in Savannah, Blount will spend early 2026 on the road. And with a new debut album in the works, that style is bound to evolve … but never stray from the truth. All ages, ticketed guests under 16 ONLY ADMITTED WITH TICKETED GUARDIAN 21+ All sales are final.
Globe Hall Presents Amelia Day with Sarah Adams and mofie on Saturday, June 20th. It took a world-shaking breakup for Amelia Day to find her true sound — and herself. "I knew you then, before all of this…but you left me for your ego trip," she sings to her ex-girlfriend on "Ego Trip," the title track from her newest EP. Stacked high with alt-rock guitars, pop hooks, and swooning keyboards, the song is more than a genre-bending kiss-off to a no-good lover; it's also a reminder that true artists remember where they came from, honoring their roots instead of chasing after trends. For Amelia, those roots began growing in her childhood home of Sumner, Washington. Raised in the Pacific Northwest, she leaned into the music of her parents' CD collection — from folk icons like Simon & Garfunkel to rock pioneers like Queen and Creedence Clearwater Revival — before falling in love with the empowered, electrifying frontwomen of the 1990s. Songwriters like Alanis Morissette and Sheryl Crow would eventually inspire the gritty, rock-influenced textures on EGO TRIP, but not before a cross-country move took Amelia to Nashville. There, she did more than strengthen her storytelling skills by earning a college degree in English; she discovered a new world of house shows and open mic nights, too. Those performances were formative experiences, showcasing Amelia's ability to blend her chops as a wordsmith with her decades-spanning range of influences. "I'd grown up listening to different kinds of music, so it felt natural to lean into all of those sounds once I started playing shows," she remembers. Whenever aspiring managers or booking agents came calling, they'd often push her to narrow her approach by choosing a single genre. Amelia refused, building a national audience on her own terms with diverse tracks like the soulful, jazz-influenced “Skippin' Down the Sidewalk" and the indie folksong "Eastward of Eden." "If you're writing material that feels very true and personal, you'll develop a sound that's signature to you, regardless of genre," she says, speaking with a perspective that belies her 23 years. "And it's affirming to hear that people like that material, because it means they like your music, not just a style." Before long, Amelia's schedule of open-mic gigs had given way to something bigger: sold-out shows that stretched from Seattle to Boston, as well as high-profile slots at Bumbershoot, Capitol Hill Block Party, Folklife Festival, and Seattle PrideFest. For an artist who'd battled stage fright until her college years, never envisioning herself playing to large crowds, this felt like life-changing progress. Amelia's life changed once again after graduation, when a 2,500-mile road trip with her longtime partner ended in a sudden, heartbreaking split. The separation was jarring, and in its aftermath, she found comfort in her favorite '90s rock records. Amelia began writing new songs inspired by that timeless music, creating a soundtrack for her long journey from heartbreak to healing. "That breakup changed my perspective on the world," she admits. "It took away some of my naïveté and helped me settle into who I really am as an artist. When I started making new music, it felt more adult, more rock-based, and more tied to the strong, powerful, wise women who've always said what they wanted to, without holding their tongues." All ages, ticketed guests under 16 ONLY ADMITTED WITH TICKETED GUARDIAN 21+ All sales are final. They are, on one hand, a band from the South that plays traditional instruments and indeed once lived in the old-time locus of Floyd, Virginia. Comparisons to and a kinship with The Avett Brothers and even Old Crow Medicine Show are inevitable. On the other hand, Palmyra writes about grief, gender dysphoria and identity, and coming of age in songs that flirt with soul, post-rock, and even emo; the South, too, is the place of My Morning Jacket, Band of Horses, Cat Power, and now, Palmyra. The band’s first full length LP, Restless, is out now on Oh Boy Records. Framed by moments of struggle, solidarity, and hard-won growth, Restless is an unqualified ringer for anyone who loves the space where the roar of indie rock collides with raw folk. All ages, ticketed guests under 16 ONLY ADMITTED WITH TICKETED GUARDIAN 21+ All sales are final.
KGNU presents Leon Majcen with Caleb Schwing & the lil mamas on Sunday, July 19th. - KITCHEN OPENS AT 5PM! A modern-day folksinger rooted in the classic tradition of Townes Van Zandt and John Prine, Leon Majcen got started early. He was still a teenager when Love and Misery became a hit on SiriusXM’s The Coffee House channel, introducing a nationwide audience to his unique spin on American roots music. What followed was a decade of traveling, performing, and chasing down new horizons — often with an acoustic guitar in his hands and a fly rod in the trunk. Making A Livin’ (Not a Killin’) marks Leon’s fourth album in five years. Inspired by the tours that have taken him far beyond his adopted home of Nashville, it’s the sound of a road warrior who’s grown all too familiar with the highs, lows, and heartbreaks that pave the long road out of town. He writes poignantly about a life spent on the move, bouncing between solo songs and full-band performances. For a songwriter who first hit the road as an infant — back when his Bosnian refugee parents moved the family to Florida, determined to find a better life for their children — Making A Livin’ (Not a Killin’) is Leon’s most honest album to date, fueled equally by melody and momentum. “The road is calling; don’t leave the light on,” he sings during the first track, delivering the line to all the people and places he’s left behind in the rearview mirror. Making A Livin’ (Not a Killin’) often revisits that theme of departure, from tracks like “Down the Road” — a laid-back, loping tribute to skipping town, punctuated by fiddle solos and a deep, countrified groove — to the darkly humorous “Sleeping in a Car Is Fun Until You Gotta Pee.” Both of those songs are driven forward by Leon’s acoustic guitar, a nod to his longtime roots as a disciple of Guy Clark and Bob Dylan. That doesn’t stop him from getting loud with “Walking Down the Street,” a bluesy rocker packed with amplification and attitude. That’s uncharted territory for Leon, and it’s proof that even the most seasoned travelers deserve to explore new places once in a while. “I’ve always occupied the folky side of country music, or the country side of folk,” he says, nodding to previous releases like 2020’s Back ’Til I’m Gone, 2024’s self-titled Leon Majcen, and 2025’s Better Days. “For years, I’ve felt most at home when it’s just me and my acoustic guitar. But this record is a pivot. It’s a bigger sound with more layers, more intent, and a real producer. It just feels right.” There are more shows on the horizon. More songs to write. More fishing holes to track down. Leon is part of the Cloverdale family now — a record label and musical collective overseen by Evan Honer, another Gen Z songwriter who uses folk music as a launchpad for a more expansive sound. And if the road truly goes on forever, then he’s ready to run it down. This is how Leon makes a living, and right now, life is good. All ages, ticketed guests under 16 ONLY ADMITTED WITH TICKETED GUARDIAN 21+ All sales are final.
Globe Hall Presents Delicate Steve with Ronjo V and Slow Caves on Friday, June 19th. - KITCHEN OPENS AT 5PM! Take a visit to Luke’s Garage, Delicate Steve’s latest album, and you’ll discover a place where sparks of creativity fly in all directions, where melodies splatter the walls like brightly hued paint, where no idea is too simple, too ingenuous, too full of childlike wonder. The L.A.-via-Jersey guitarist born Steve Marion, whose credits include session work for Amen Dunes, Paul Simon, and Deradoorian, had no grand plan for making it: he would simply book some time at a friend’s studio, hunker down, and play. He’s always allowed intuition to guide him, composing his jubilantly tuneful instrumentals as he records them, but this time, he felt freer than ever to “keep the seams showing, and don’t polish everything, and keep it raw, and alive, and electric-feeling,” he says. He chose the title, Luke’s Garage, as a tribute to his pal and sometime collaborator Luke Temple, but also for the anything-goes adolescent innocence it conjured: the feeling of heading over to a buddy’s house, turning up the amps, and creating your own world. In the world of Luke’s Garage, a passage of music that feels like a sketch in progress might open into a hook so finely wrought, so obviously right, that you have a hard time believing you haven’t heard it before. The two passages may in fact be one and the same. There are songs that feel destined to soundtrack memories of windows-down road trips, and those more suited to moments of hushed intimacy. A shadowy synth-pop excursion (“Light of the World”) veers into a candlelit soul ballad (“Shall Be Free”); a chugging garage-rocker (the title track, naturally) sets up an unexpected detour into slinky disco (“There Goes My Baby”). Delicate Steve’s unmistakable sensibility, his tone airy yet tactile, his lines full of poignant bends and whimsical asides, is a benevolent guide through the ever-shifting landscape, keeping a steady hand on the wheel no matter the surroundings. He has little interest in showing off, focusing instead on clarity, simplicity, and directness—more like an openhearted pop songwriter than a look-what-I-can-do shredder. Marion played every instrument on Luke’s Garage himself—guitars, drums, keys, bass—which heightens its homespun charm. The album’s sense of music as a colorful playground for exploration may remind you of Paul McCartney’s early solo work, made at a time when he was shrugging off the weight of expectation and digging into his own idiosyncrasy, tinkering alone until he found a sound that made him feel and trusting it would do the same for others. As with the McCartney, this record’s air of easy spontaneity belies serious craftsmanship and care: the exuberantly arcing melody of “We’ll Be Friends” and the quietly hopeful one of “Die With It” didn’t just come out of thin air, no matter how natural or even preordained they may seem. To hear Marion tell it, the audible joy in his music isn’t some affect he’s choosing to put on, but an honest expression of his own delight and relief when he finally finds the right note, the right rhythm. The prevailing mood of Luke’s Garage is one of discovery, because you’re hearing Marion discover the music himself. All ages, ticketed guests under 16 ONLY ADMITTED WITH TICKETED GUARDIAN 21+ All sales are final. At only 13 years old, John-Robert was handpicked to perform on the Ellen show as a musical child prodigy. At 19, he left his hometown Edinburg, VA (pop. 1,070) in 2019 to move to LA and start his music career, bypassing a scholarship to Berklee. He was signed to Nice Life/Warner by Grammy-nominated producer Ricky Reed (Leon Bridges, Lizzo) and released a handful of singles and EPs over a few years, earning him co-signs from artists Alessia Cara and Camilla Cabello. But it was a live fireside performance of his 2023 song “Come Pick Me Up” that catapulted John-Robert’s lilting blend of traditional folk and Appalachian country into the modern pop landscape. He toured extensively in 2023 and 2024 in the US and abroad supporting artists like Madi Diaz, Rayland Baxter, Leon Bridges, and even Liam Gallagher. Virginia, and his family there, has always been a source of inspiration for the singer-songwriter. On making his 2023 EP Garden Snake he says, “It was like trying to make a Virginia record in LA.” A move back home to Virginia in early 2025 made perfect sense as he embarked on creating a new body of work. The move was a way to pull himself out of the professional and personal turmoil of LA, and reconnect with the people and places that made him who he is today – the banks of the North Fork Shenandoah River and rolling hillsides, the home-cooked meals and close-knit community. Newly independent, he released his EP Cross Stitch in 2025. He has spent the last few months on the road with JOSEPH, Ax and the Hatchetmen, Infinity Song and more. And this year, new music is already on the horizon. All ages, ticketed guests under 16 ONLY ADMITTED WITH TICKETED GUARDIAN 21+ All sales are final. His new record Feet on Fire captures that period of wild transition, with songs inspired by Chapman's marriage to fellow songwriter Meg McRee and the arrival of the couple's first child. On songs like the guitar-driven title track, Chapman mixes Pink Floyd atmosphere with Crazy Horse crunch, showcasing the full spread of his musical influences. Elsewhere, he tips his hat to his southern roots with the laidback, loping "Out in the Country" and the Stax-sized soul ballad "Missing You." Produced by Grammy-nominated songwriter and producer Anderson East, Feet on Fire captures Ben Chapman as we've never heard him before: his back against the wall and his heart full, determined not only to meet the challenges up ahead, but to write about the process, too All ages, ticketed guests under 16 ONLY ADMITTED WITH TICKETED GUARDIAN 21+ All sales are final. Executive produced by Billy Lemos (SZA, Paris Texas, Tinashe), the album features contributions from Bon Iver, aja monet, Gaidaa, and others. Saleh threads and deconstructs indie, R&B, and electronic pop with flashes of Sudanese folk, UK dance, and baile funk, sounds intrinsic to their story, all held together by ambitious, future-facing production and clear-eyed lyricism. Saleh’s soulful, gritty, shape-shifting style has found fans from The New York Times to NME, alongside their breakout role in the Netflix series Sex Education, making 2024's Ghostly International debut, I SHOULD CALL THEM, a proper arrival. The highly anticipated Of Earth & Wires responds to the moment as both a watershed in their career and an urgent dialogue with struggles faced on a universal level. Beyond mythological references and planetary narratives, with their strongest, most immediate material to date, Saleh makes the case for love above progress and greed, for divine beauty and the enduring flame of the human spirit. VIP Package includes: 1x GA Ticket Early Entry Meet & Greet VIP Laminate Exclusive Merch Item All ages, ticketed guests under 16 ONLY ADMITTED WITH TICKETED GUARDIAN 21+ All sales are final. Frequently described as a happy girl filled with sad songs, Avery puts storytelling first, drawing inspiration from observing the people around her, the media she consumes, and, of course, her own life. She starts each of her songs alone with her piano, eventually working with her close knit team to bring her work to life. Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Avery fell in love with music playing piano at seven years old. Since then, she has created a sound around her soft vocals and raw piano ballads focusing on building community through her storytelling and lyricism. Julia Campbell: Julia Campbell is a Los Angeles-based artist, songwriter and producer originally from Philadelphia, PA. She excels at crafting lyrics and concepts, helping artists to shape their rawest emotions and life experiences into distilled, coherent ideas, across genres.
KTCL Channel 93.3 presents Little Image with Mayor Grey on Thursday, June 18th. - KITCHEN OPENS AT 5PM! Throughout a near-decade, Dallas trio little image morphed from a group of perpetually online suburban kids who were obsessed with underground indie rock and had no idea what they wanted to be into the tight-knit outfit you see today. Made up of Jackson Simmons (vocals/guitar), Brandon Walters(bass/synth) and Troy Bruner (drums), the trio truly blossomed during 2020’s lockdown. That extra time allowed the members to fully expand on the promise of their early singles “WORTH IT” and “EGO,” exploring different ways to create a pop-rock song beyond the basic guitar/bass/drums template. This new burst of creativity led to a partnership with Chad Copelin (Sufjan Stevens, 5SOS). Simmons credits Copelin with creating a warm, nurturing studio environment that allowed each member to explore their influences and culminated in the May 2023 release of their debut album SELF TITLED followed by a U.S. headline tour that summer. The album was deliberately sequenced to tell a story of self-doubt, self-reflection and eventually, self-love, and it scored the band their first #1 single alternative radio hit with “OUT OF MY MIND.” All ages, ticketed guests under 16 ONLY ADMITTED WITH TICKETED GUARDIAN 21+ All sales are final.
